Cheltenham Town Football Club’s latest manager announced
Excitement is in the air as Cheltenham Town Football Club welcomes its 12th permanent manager, Darrell Clarke. The manager who was recently in charge of Port Vale, has just signed a two-year deal at the Completely-Suzuki stadium.
Darrell started his football career as a midfielder playing for teams such as Mansfield Town, Hartlepool United and Salisbury City. After that, he stepped into management at Salisbury, where he has been incredibly successful, making history by earning two promotions in the space of three years and leading the team to its first-ever FA Cup Third Round with a triumph over Grimsby Town.
Darrell then moved on to Bristol Rovers, where he spent four and a half years at the Memorial Stadium, again winning back-to-back promotions. He then moved on to Walsall and Vale Park, where he won his fifth promotion in his managerial career.
Completely-Suzuki were proud to attend Darrell’s opening press conference on Monday 2nd October, where he clearly outlined his vision for the team moving forward and was hopeful for a successful end to the season.
We wish Darrell and the team the best of luck for the rest of the 2023/24 season, and we are proud to support Cheltenham Town Football at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium!
Come on you Robins
